My Name is Ben Oldaker

Allow me to thank you for your interest in my work! Photography is an art, and I really enjoy the creative process. I've been doing photography since around 2003. I started with a small Canon PowerShot compact, upgraded to several DSLRs, and more recently have switched to using mirrorless. I love meeting new people, and interacting with new places. I enjoy the process behind making a memorable photo, and providing a great experience for people. I love spending time at the beautiful beaches, and spending time with my family.

I thoroughly enjoy the experience of using Fujifilm cameras. The analog controls and dials I find to help with the creative process and allow me to take control of the photo easier. I utilize off camera flash when needed, and I use both hard and soft light sources. My editing style I suppose tends towards more vintage or slightly retro looks. I like to make instant prints on Fujifilm Instax paper as well, providing a unique experience for my clients and immediate memories from a photo session.
